Namaan Duggar Kala Manch celebrates Dogri Manayata Divas

Reasi, Dec 25: Namaan Duggar Kala Manch Bhambla (Pouni) celebrated belated Dogri Manayata Divas in the premises of Govt. Girls High School Pouni under the able Guidance of CEO Reasi Nirmal Choudhary and Zonal Education Officer Pouni Gopal Krishan Komal.
On this occasion Retd. Director School Education Jammu, Convener Sahitya Academy New Delhi and renowned poet D.K. Vaid (Darshan Darshi) was the Chief Guest. Dr. Gian Singh, Retd. Additional Secretary Academy of Art Culture and Languages Jammu, Shivdev Singh Susheel (Member Advisiory Board Sahitya Academy), Rajinder Ranjha (Yuva Sahitya Academy Awardee ), and Raj Rahi famous story writer were the guests of honour.
On Behalf of the Namaan Duggar Kala Manch Bhambla(Pouni) Gopal Krishan Komal (ZEO Pouni) and P.D. Bali (ZEPO) Pouni accompanied the guests on the stage. On this occasion all the girl students of the school received the guests on the gate of the premises along with their staff and the members of NDKM Bhambla. Moreover Worthy ZEO Pouni formally welcomed the guests on the stage by presenting bouquet and dogra turbans. Dharm Paul Sharma apprised the guests with the objectives of NDKM and a joint welcome song was presented by all the members of the Manch. On this day almost ten poets, ten Dogri Bhakh Singers and equal number of women Bhakh Singers participated in this function besides the participation of little kids of the school.
Shiv Dev Singh Susheel (Member Advisiory Board Sahitya Academy ) also appreciated the Manch for its continuous efforts being put on the ground. Dr. Gian Singh said that he has seen tremendous potential among the youth of the area for the promotion of the language. On this Occasion Darshan Darshi, the Chief Guest of the programme blessed the Manch with some special areas to be worked out in very near future. He said that it was his pleasure to be the part of the programme where little kids were seen uttering in Dogri.
Mohinder Dass Sharma President NDKM Bhambla demanded an annual Dogri Conference at Bhambla on behalf of Cultural Academy as almost fifty poets of the area remain cut off from the programmes of the Academy. Beside this he said that whole credit for a successful programme goes to Sanjeev Kumar Sharma who leaves no stone unturned in the way for the promotion of dogri language.
