Community mobilization mela concludes

Doda, Dec 25: Zone Assar completed its' three day Community Mobilization Mela from 22nd of December to 24th of December under the banner of Major Intervention under the scheme of SAMAGRA Shikhsha.
The 3 day programme turned out to be a huge success with a notable number of various government officials as well as the newly elected PRI members /SMC /VEC members graced the whole programme under the chairmanship of Worthy ZEO Assar/Principal HSS Khellani Om Parkash Katoch.
The main aim of the programme was to make schools a hub for dispensing knowledge about all type of government schemes whereas community and teachers should go hand in hand to uplift the educational standard and overall development of the area. The programme was divided in 3 phases where first phase was held at HSS Khellani on 22nd of Dec, second phase on 23rd of December at HSS Assar and the final phase at HSS Goha on 24th of December.
The whole programme was chalked out by Avinash Megwan teacher UPS Nilhote who also presided the whole programme and bridged the whole process to reach its logical end. Katoch while addressing talked to the public present about their rights and duties as representatives of the community. He emphasized that educational standards of any particular area can only be enhanced when the public will lend a helping hand to the teachers.
