DBPS appeals PM to review resolution passed by previous regimes

Jammu, Dec 25: Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha, alongwith other social organizations today urged the Prime Minister to review so called resolution passed by the previous regimes, relating to the stalling of the process for the delimitation of assembly constituencies in J&K State which has not only discriminated the political class but also had evoked a sense of insecurity amongst the people Jammu and Ladakh region.
"Considering the population, area, voter strength constituency-wise particularly in Jammu and Ladakh region has done utter injustice by passing the said resolution", Ved Parkash Sharma president Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha and other while addressing a meeting of activists of sabha and other social organization here.
Advocate P.C. Sharma while addressing on the occasion said that those who are playing regional autonomy card are befooling the people of the state for their vested interest. Sharma cautioned the people from different walk of life of their nefarious design prior to the upcoming assembly election.
Prominent social activist B.S Jamwal (Retd. Dy. Commissioner) while speaking on the occasion said that immediately setting up of the review committee followed by delimitation commission to addressed the imbalance of population, voter strength in each constituencies of the state assembly.
While appreciating the functioning of the Governor Administration, it was urged that President rule should continue till delimitation commission give its report. They exhorted the public to support this noble cause to defeat the design of vested interests.
Sharma added that all stakeholders including the governments should not delay the construction of Ram Mandir at Shri Ram Janam Bhoomi Ayodhya as the nation cannot afford the same.
Vice-President Virendar Mohan Magotra, Satyanand Sharma, Subash Shastri, Jagan Nath Sharma, Shiv Ram Sharma, Romesh Sharma, Sat pal Sharma, Satpal Khajuria, Nanak Chand Sharma, Madan Lal Sharma, K.L. Sharma, Dr. Som Dutt Magotra, Raman Sharma, Som Nath Sharma, Prem Balotra, Shanti Saroop Baru, Gurdass Sharma, Davinder Sharma (Babu) Kerni, Jagan Nath Sharma (M), Sham Lal Sharma, Rajesh Bargotra, M.L. Sharma, Girdhari Lal, S.C.D Sharma has also demanded for immediate constituting of minority commission in Jammu Kashmir also.
D.B.P.S president Ved Parkash Sharma further announced that the sabha will celebrate the Jayanti of first Paramveer Chakar Vijayta Shaheed Som Nath Sharma on 31st January 2019 with fervor and enthusiasm.
