| Dozens of NC workers join Congress in Mendhar | | | Early Times Report
MENDHAR, Dec 25: A large number of NC activists joined Congress party in presence of Tehasil Congress Mendhar leader Choudhary Imran Zaffer and other senior party leaders in a function organised by Tehsil Congress Commi-ttee Mendhar here at Me-ndhar.
Welcoming newly elected Sarpanches and Panches of Congress and newly joined NC aspirants in the party fold, Imran Zaffer said that the previous PDP-BJP coalition government has totally failed in protecting the future of youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
Taking jibe at PDP and BJP , he said the agenda of alliance of previous government didn't work and due to the wrong policies of BJP_PDP lgovernment the situation in Kashmir has worsened further. He also said that there is need of secular government in Kashmir and appealed youth to joins hands with his party. Congress leader also congratulated Rahul Gandhi for winning assembly elections in three states and described him as a role model for youth of India.
Mohammad Yousaf while speaking on the occasion assured the Senior Congress Leader Ch Zaffer ulla Azad to work with honestly and to spreading the policies and programmes of Congress in every nook and corner of the Mendhar sub divsion On the occasion various other congress leaders were present . |
