Kathua, Dec 25: A meeting of incharge lecturers of school education department and other incharge cadres was held at Kathua to discuss the regularization of all Incharge cadres (Joint Directors, CEOS, principals, ZEOs, lecturers and headmasters).
The speakers in the meeting strongly criticized some Self style teachers and lecturers who are defaming the whole teaching community and education department in press media for last many years on the name of promotions and regularizations.
Speakers in the meeting said that all the norms in vogue are followed by school education department while regularization and in promotions of teaching cadres .They said that hundreds of incharge officers have expired and retired without their regularization for last ten to twenty years which is injustice with them and their families.
Speaking on the occasion Amar Nath Thakur said that an officer can be made incharge maximum for six months but serving in the department for ten to twenty years he either retires or get expired without regularization whereas under norms he must be regularized after six months. |
