BYS celebrates Mahila Yog Shakti Diwas

Jammu, Dec 25: Bhartiya Yog Sansthan celeberates 25th of December every year as Mahila Yog Shakti Diwas. Accordingly a grand function was held today at Yog Ashram Gole Gujral Jammu. The function was attended by 500 women Yog Sadhaks who performed Yog Sadhana and staged various cultural events. The great thing about the function is that whole function, Sadhana, cultural events, management and conduct is being done by women only.
He while introducing the organization said that Sansthan is a non-sectarian, apolitical, social, cultural and non-profit making organization, serving the humanity/aspirants both within and outside India for more than 52 years now through a network of over 3500 Kendras. The Organization has dedicated itself to the cause of teaching Yoga to people free of any cost. The mission "Jio aur Jivan do" is aimed at making people happy and healthy through Yoga, an ancient Indian science for physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
Yoga at these centers is taught free of cost daily by Expert Volunteer (Shikshaks) of the Sansthan. These classes are attended by a large number of people, both men and women, of all age groups on regular basis.
The function was also attended by Chandra Gupta, retd KAS Officer and Rajni Sharma, Principal AMT School, Medical college.
