| Pharmanar residents protest against PDD | | |  Early Times Report
MENDHAR, Dec 27: The residents of Pharmanar area of Gursai of Mendhar Sub Divsion held a protest against Power Development Department (PDD) authorities and demanded repair of a transformer and restoration of the power supply in this area.
Residents of the area came out on the highway and shouted slogans against PDD. The residents alleged that a transformer was damaged about three months ago at Pharmanar Ward no 8 "but the PDD has failed to replace or repair it."
Rashid Ahmed , a resident, said despite paying electricity bills on time, they don't have a transformer in the locality from the last three months
The protesters blocked the Mendhar Surankote road to make their demands heard. The police official reached the spot and assured them that their problems would be addressed soon. |
