| ReT panelists hold protest, urge Guv to resolve issues | | |

JAMMU, Jan 15: In protest against the state government for not resolving their issues, the The Rehber-e-Talim (ReT) panelists staged a demonstration here today near Press Club of Jammu.
Hundreds of ReT panelists gathered near Press Club of Jammu to raise their in unison voice against government for conceding to their demands.
While addressing the media, the president of ReT panelists Harjit Singh said that recently the state government closed the ReT scheme but several ReTs have already applied vide different notifications and are in the queue. He said government did nothing to pursue our case for engagement as ReT teachers. Afterwards we people approached the court of all and then High Court at Jammu directed the respondent state to implement the court directions / stay orders in letter and spirit and pursue the cases of the petitions who have already applied before the closure of the ReT scheme.
Harjit Singh appealed Governor to intervene in the matter personally and get it resolved. |
