Workshop in MBS College of Engineering, Technology, Jammu conducted

JAMMU, Jan 16: Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering & Technology, Jammu organized one Day Workshop on "Future of Nanotechnology in Bio Informatics". Dr. Vijay Kumar Arora, Professor Wilkes University, USA was the resource person. The workshop was organized by the departments of "Electronics and Communication Engineering" and "Information Technology Engineering" department of the college in collaboration with the "Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE)", Jammu centre. He discussed on amalgamation of Bio-Informatics with Science and Engineering, including Nano Culture, Nano Robots, Nano Electronics etc. and key notes about the future of Nanotechnology. Staff members and students of ECE & IT Engineering Department attended the workshop. Prof. (Dr.). Amar Singh Sudan, Chairman, MBSCET addressed the audience and highlighted the importance of this workshop for students in the near future.
Prof. Anjani Kumar, Principal, MBSCET expressed his gratitude to the distinguished expert and members of IETE, Jammu Centre.
Prof. Parveen Singh (Dean Academics) was the convener of the event. Prof. Amrik Singh, (Vice Principal), SHS Gill, (DSW), Heads of the Departments, Er. Sameer Sharma (Vice Chairman, IETE), Prof. Pawnesh Abrol (Professor, University of Jammu), Er. Vijay Sharma and Er. Joy Ganjoo from IETE were also present. Plantation drive was also carried out in the college premises by the dignitaries.
Mementos was presented to the distinguish guests. The workshop was coordinated by Prof. Anil Gupta, (HOD, ECE), Prof. Jaswinder Kour (HOD, IT) and Prof. Tinny Sawhney (ECE Department). Prof. Surinder Kour Bali anchored the entire program.
