PoK's PSC topper arrested for protesting against nepotism

Early Times Report
Srinagar, Jan 16: Exposing its true colors, Police in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir has arrested a girl, who topped Public Service Commission exam, for protesting nepotism in appointments.
As per POK Media, Sehrish Sultan, the topper of POK's Public Service Commission exam, was arrested for lodging a protest outside the Prime Minister Secretariat in Muzaffarabad. Police also arrested her uncle who was accompanying her.
Sehrish belongs to Sudhanoti district of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. Despite scoring top marks in the exams, she has not been appointed to a post yet, Pakistan Today reported on Monday.
According to media reports, Girl alleged that POK Law Minister Farooq Tahir had appointed his niece to the concerned post. Sehrish decided to lodge a protest against this act of nepotism along with her senior uncle.
However, the law enforcement officials took them into custody. They even dragged them on roads before arresting the individuals. In a video that has gone viral on social media police officials can be seen pushing and thrashing her uncle and other individuals who were lodging protest against the injustice.
Sehrish told the media that PoK Prime Minister had earlier assured her that the issued will be resolved but couldn't. Now, she said education minister gave her assurance.
"We were not allowed to protest and physically assaulted while being moved to the prison. Now, this is all being done to suit political agendas. If my issue is not solved, I will do what I can to have it registered," she threatened.
This isn't for the first time that PoK government has hogged headlines for wrong reasons. In this part of India, voices of people are being suppressed and local rulers aren't only doing injustice with the people but also allowing loot of natural resources.
