Pak's new incitement to people of Kashmir
2/4/2019 11:21:54 PM
When Pakistan Foreign Minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, has voiced his readiness to work with the next Government in India it indicates that Islamabad is not ready to work with the BJP led NDA Government. Not only this Pakistan plans to incite people of Kashmir so that they vote against the Modi led Government. Well Qureshi should have known it that six Lok Sabha seats from the state of Jammu and Kashmir may not materially affect the LS poll, that two when the valley had only three seats. Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said Pakistan was ready to work with next Indian government in case it wants to work with Pakistan. What factors Qureshi has to strengthen his argument that Modi Government did not cooperate with Pakistan. Yes, there is one reason that Modi led Government did not resume the process of dialogue with Pakistan because Pakistan did not implement certain pre-conditions laid down by India for the reopening of channels of Dialogue
Talking to the media, he said the elections in India was her internal matter and Pakistan had neither interfered in its internal matters nor it intends to do so. Already Pakistan Government has interfered with the course of elections wishing that grand alliance led by Congress may win the poll.
"Although, issues are emerging in India but Pakistan has no role in this regard," he said meaning thereby human rights violations in Kashmir and the refusal of New Delhi to resume talks either with Pakistan or the separatists in Kashmir. Well India had asked Pakistan that it should stop export of terror to India, including Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan has not so far done and that is the reason for India to shut the doors of dialogue. Even the separatists have been designated by New Delhi as Pakistani agents and there was no need for resumption of talks with the Hurriyat leaders .Even if grand alliance led by the Congress is voted to power in India it will continue to tell Pakistan to stop exp[oet of terror to Jammu and Kashmir if it wants to start process of talks.
He said Pakistan was ready to work with next Indian government on resolving the outstanding issues between the two countries.
Asserting that Kashmir dispute needed to be resolved, Qureshi said, "Pakistan, India and Kashmiris were three important identities in this regard." When the Congress ruled India for upteen times the issue of Kashmir was not settled and Congress and its allies may not go against the will of the people. First of all possibilities of BJP led Modi being defeated in the next Lok Sabha elections. Are remote and hence Qureshi may not be able to hold talks with the Congress. Modi led Government berates Qureshi for holding talks with the Chief of Hurriyat Conference(M) Molvi Umar Farooq and let Qureshi attend the House of Commons meeting in London where he plans to raise the Kashmir issue.
