RDD reprimands 13 BDOs, 4 other officials rescinded

Jammu, Feb 14: In order to set the house in order, the Secretary Rural Development Department Sheetal Nanda reprimanded 13 BDOs who had been on the deputation from the Agriculture Department while at the same time, department's own senior Inspector Panchayats and other deserving officers were denied the promotion by not holding DPC meetings.
As per the details available with "Early Times", Secretary RDD vide Government Order No. 45- RD&PR of 2019 Dated 12-02-2019 titled " Repatriation of Junior Agriculture Assistants/AEO to the Agriculture Production Department", repatriated Junior Agriculture Assistants/Agriculture Extension Officers of the Agriculture Production Department, who are deployed in DRDA on deputation bases against the posts of APOs and presently working in the RDD against the post of Block Development Officers with immediate effect.
As per the order those reprimanded include Ishtiyaq Ahmad Khan, Reyaz Hussain Wani, Zahoor Ahmad Wani, Ashfeen Khan, Bilal Ahmad Lone, Shabir Ahmad Wani all from Rural Development Kashmir, N K Chandan, Tahir Qayoom Malik, Suman Kumar Kattal, Gurjit Singh, Yasir Hussain Wani, Rajesh Padha and Varinder Kumar, all from Rural Development Jammu.
Similarly vide Governemnt order No. 46 -RD&PR of 2019 Dated 12-2-2019, Secretary RDD ordered cancellation of placement orders against the post of BDOs in respect of officials of Rural Development Jammu.
"In the interest of administration, it is hereby ordered that the placement orders issued from time to time in violation of existing J&K Rural Development (Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules notified vide SRO-285 Dated 1/9/2003 in favour of the following official(s) of the Rural Development Jammu against the post of Block Development Officers are hereby rescinded with immediate effect" read the government order.
Those who were rescinded include Rita Rani (Mukhya Sevika), Rajeev Gandotra (AVO), Mohinder Singh (Head Assistant) and Rafiq Ahmad Lone (I/C Section Officer).
