| Two overstaying CAPD officials irk Mendhar people | | |

POONCH, Feb 22: People of Mendhar and Balakote have expressed their concern over the overstaying of two CAPD officials in their native place of hosting and have been allegedly indulging in malpractices, sources said here today.
They said Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO) Balakote Abdul Kabir is a local and has been posted for the last over 4 years as TSO Balakote, besides, he has been holding additional charge of store keeper. He has been working in contradict to the guidelines of Election Commission that no official can be posted in his native during the time of elections.
Talking to Early Times prominent locals of Mendhar alleged that Tehsil Supply Officer (TSO) Abdul Khaliq was also over staying. They wondered as how such officials like Abdul Khaliq manage their posing in their native areas. They also alleged that locals had to face lots of difficulties as the TSO was indulged in malpractices.
Meanwhile, social activist of Mendhar Er M R Kazafi has urged the Director CAPD Jammu and state administration that overstaying officials be transferred with an immediate effect from their native places and shifted to outside the district, adding such officials were supposed to be shifted as they have been overstaying on their posts. |
