Jammu, Apr 2: Sports kit was distributed to 79 inmates of the SAI Training centre Jammu, at an impressive function held at KK Hakku Stadium on Tuesday.
Complete sports kit worth RS, 5000-/ was given to each of the Residential/Day Boarding inmates of the STC, which included playing kit, Game Shoes, T- Suit,T- Shirts, Towel and Kit bag. Members of the STC Management committee including Dr, SM Bali and Ranjit Kalra, Senior Coaches of the SAI and Regional centre of the SAI Chandigarh, Parents, Sports enthusiasts, officers of the Sports council and Members of the Press were present on the Occasion.
Dr. SM Bali appreciated the work of the STC Jammu and applauded its efforts towards performance coaching in selected disciplines.
Ranjit Kalra appreciated the role of the Sports council in supporting the endeavours of the STC for improving sports performance in chosen disciplines. |
