| Agriculture Department cancels attachment, modification issued by DAJ | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 2: Taking cognizance of Early Times Report regarding modification of transfer orders by influential Agriculture Extensional Officers, Sub Division Officers in Agriculture department, published repeatedly in newspaper, the administration of Agriculture Production Department has canceled all the modifications, attachments made by the department in the month of March.
Sources informed Early Times that on April 1, Agriculture Production Department with vide order NO. 85 Agri of 2019 dated 01-04-2019, Under Secretary to Government, Kritika Raina (KAS) directed that the following order of transfer/elevation/additional Charge issued by Director Agriculture Jammu without any approval of the competent authority are hereby rescinded abinito and directed the director to maintain the status quo ante in respect of transfer/posting/elevation of the concerned officers.
"The following order which were canceled by Under Secretary to Government are 126/E of 2019 dated 5/3/2019, 129/E dated 6/3/2019, and five order nos, 132, 133,134,135,136 all of them were published on 9/3/2019", informed sources.
As per the report which was published on March 19, with title "GAD order Violated; DAJ attaches five AEOs in Jammu" in which the Director Agriculture Jammu attached five influential AEAs in Jammu that too without taking approval from the competent authority.
Whereas in the story dated March 23 and March 28 the daily carried out two stories stating that Agriculture Departmet modifies of Nine Agriculture Extensional Officers and handed choicest posting within days from the transfer order while in another story two more officer get modification within days.
Now the employees of the department has welcomed the step of Kritika Raina, Under Secretary to Government, Agriculture Production Department and once again urged the department there are so many officials who are still overstayed, posted at choicest posting and modification in department since long time due to their influence and the deserving ones are always ignored by the officials who are at helm of the affair. |
