Retired officers Forum holds mounthly meet, highlights demands

JAMMU, Apr 3: The Executive Committee of the Retired Officers' Forum, Jammu, met for their regular monthly meeting, under the Chairmanship of I.D. Soni, President. The General Secretary of Forum S.C. Rekhi apprised the committee that the forum was involved in following important activities during the year 2018-19, to advance the problems faced by the Retirees/pensioners, as also the activities organized by forum.
Organizing Cultural programmes in association with the Academy of Culture and Old Age Home, Ambphalla. Meeting with top bureaucrats /ministers during popular role, Hon'ble advisors during Governor's rule to get, Sanction of various installments of pending D.A installments, Getting approval of simplified form for fixation of pay as per the 7th Pay Commission recommendations, Repeated representations made to Govt. CM, the Governor for enhancement of Medical Allowance in favour of serving and retired Govt. servants.
All the members of Executive Committee greatly appreciated the role of the President I.D. Soni and the Secretary S.C. Rekhi, to make the Retired Officers' Forum a vibrant organization and trying their best to get the problems of pensioners solved and in arranging cultural events for the pensioners and hoped that, in future also, they will continue to do so.
