Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 3: In total violation of guidelines of engagement, a Rehbar-e-Talim teacher has reportedly managed three transfers and her occasional attendance in the school under the nose of authorities.
Moreover, she has been getting regular salary after getting her attendance marked fraudulently by her colleagues, while staying at Jammu for the last many years.
According to sources, an influential lady was appointed as ReT teacher in Tehsil and block Drabshalla and she managed her transfer to Government Middle School Sangpoora, Tehsil Chatroo and further managed transfer to Middle School Nayadgaam of block Chatroo.
Sources alleged that she has not been attending the school regularly for the last over four years and visits the school after few months, to get her attendance done with active connivance of the officials of the department.
"Her regular stay at Jammu is well known but none of the officials raises voice as her husband is an official in Revenue department", sources said, adding that the ReT teacher was so well connected that she has got her daughter enrolled in UKG class at International Delhi Public School (IDPS).
"As the daughter is still young and it is not possible for her mother to visit the school. Had she not managed her stay in Jammu through active influence, she would have been forced to get her daughter enrolled in Chatroo", sources said, adding that she is wife of an officer, who has been recently transferred from Kishtwar to district Jammu due to elections.
Chief Education Officer Kishtwar, Kuldeep Kumar said that as per guidelines ReTs are not transferred. "I have joined nearly a month back and will take details from the subordinate staff and initiate action", he said.
