Kashmir will turn into Palestine if Article 370 is abolished, says Mehbooba Mufti
4/4/2019 6:27:53 PM

Srinagar
April 4, 2019

Addressing an election rally today (Thursday), Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti warned Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah of becoming an occupational force in Jammu and Kashmir if Article 370 is scrapped.

She said, "Amit Shah sahab, Mehbooba Mufti aap se keh rahi hai, jis din aap 370 ko khatam karoge, you will be an occupational force in Jammu & Kashmir, jis tarah Palestine pe Israel ka kabza hai usi tarah Jammu and Kashmir main Hindustan ka kabza hoga, agar aapne 370 ko khatam kiya" (Amit Shah sir, Mehbooba Mufti is telling you that the day you scrap Article 370, you will be an occupational force in Jammu & Kashmir. If Article 370 is abolished, then India will be to Kashmir what Israel is to Palestine).

Earlier, Amit Shah had said that 2020 will be a deadline for Article 370.

After filing nomination papers from Anantnag, Mehbooba Mufti made another provocative statement yesterday (Wednesday).

On the same issue, Mehbooba had earlier said that the day Article 370 is scrapped, it would be the end of accession of Jammu and Kashmir with India.
