Pak army arsenal recovered from hideout

Jammu, Apr 4: In a major success to security forces ahead of upcoming Parliamentary elections, the police and 17 RR in a joint operation in Dachhan forest area recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition from a Hizb hideout.
As per the details available with Early Times, among the recovery is the arsenal used by the Pakistani army.
Senior police officials told the Early Times that Pak made Heckler and Koch G3 riffle exclusively used by the Pakistani army was recovered as well.
The Deputy Superint-endent of Police Operation Kishtwar Davinder Singh while divulging details said that on a specific information developed by Police, Kishtwar Police along with 17 RR Army launched CASO in the General area of Dachhan has busted a hideout of the terrorists in the Trungi ,Dhumwhaie area of Dachhan. The operation parties recovered a huge consignment of arms and ammunition including
7.62 mm Heckler & Koch Rifle standard weapon of Pak Army and 87 Rds, 05 AK Rds, 01 AK magzine, 01 grenade & 01 poch
The police have registered case under relevant section in Police Station Dachhan. The investigation of the case has been started and police is expecting more recoveries.
SSP Kishtwar Shakti K Pathak said that recovery of this cache shall result in defeating the nefarious designs of the militants of derailing the peace and stability of the region. The relentless efforts of the Security Forces proves their commitment towards maintaining peace in the region.
