Ultimately BJP expels Lal Singh
4/4/2019 11:34:21 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 4: BJP has taken decision on gross indiscipline by Ch Lal Singh by confirming that he cease to be member of BJP the day he filed forms to contest from two Parliamentary constituencies of Jammu and refused to withdraw nominations on the scheduled date for that.
Decision in this regard has been taken by the party high command on the basis of report sent by State BJP based upon inputs and evaluation by State BJP Disciplinary Committee.
In a press release issued by chief spokesman of state BJP Sunil Sethi, it was stated that as Dogra Swabhiman Sanghthan was declared by Ch. Lal Singh to be non-political organization so no action had been taken in the past on that but as political motives are now clear and act of indiscipline is not acceptable in disciplined party like BJP so it is apparent that membership of Ch Lal Singh in BJP ceased the moment he fielded himself against party candidates in elections.
