Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 4: 47 slum kids trained by Aradhana- A Ray Of Hope, were successful enrolled in the Government School of Jammu, to pursue formal education.
These kids belong to the slum area of Maratha Mohalla and Transport Nagar Jammu who never went to any school & had very little knowledge about basic education. Aradhana-a ray of hope got in touch with the area based on the field surveys they conduct periodically and started regular study classes in these slums. Basic concepts & basic etiquettes were taught to these kids. Material donations of essential supplies for basic hygience were donated alongwith stationary. Aradhana - a ray of hope is a Jammu-based registered non-profit organization and has been working to provide basic education to underprivileged and poverty- stricken children since 2009. These include school dropouts, roadside kids, slum kids, beggars, orphans, migrants and likewise less fortunate kids.
The NGO help these children get out of the darkness of oblivion by providing them basic education and focusing on their overall development in all spheres of life like sports, hygiene, mannerisms etc. AAROH aspire to move persistently to similar weaker sections of the society of Jammu and reach to more and more children to help them earning the most precious treasure of childhood that is the right to basic education.
