Campus placement drive held at Govt Polytechnic Jammu

JAMMU, Apr 4: Government Polytechnic, Bikram Chowk Jammu organized a Campus placement drive for the final semester students of 2019 batch and for passed out students of 2018 and 2017 batch in Mechanical and Automobile engineering in the college in which 72 students participated.
The placement drive was conducted by Maruti Suzuki India Ltd for post of Service Advisor in their fourty dealerships across the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal Govt. Polytechnic Jammu thanked Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. for providing the employment opportunity to Polytechnic students by conducting campus placement in the college.
He also impressed upon the students to participate in the placement drive with full enthusiasm and make full use of their professional & technical skill for employability to various organizations.
Sudhir Aggarwal Regional Training Manager J&K of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. Conducted the pre placement session with the students and briefed them about job profile and placement drive.
Sheetal Kochar HR Manager and Anil Tickoo Service Incharge from Jamkash Vehiclades Jammu, Nishu Bali HR Manager and Jaswant Singh Service Head from Jammu Motors, Ganesh Pant Works Manager, Ravinder Singh HR Manager from Peak Auto Ltd. and other team members interacted with students for Pre- Placement Talk followed by Written Test (Technical), Psychometric Test and Personal interview. Out of 72 students 34 qualified the written test, 15 Psychometric Test and finally eight students Aham Warikoo, Sunil Kumar, Neeraj Sharma, Muzzaffer Hussain, Akshay Kotwal, Shahid Naik, Surinder Singh and Kushal Singh of Government Polytechnic Jammu were selected and given Job letter with initial salary of Rs 9750 per month besides other incentives during the training period starting w.e.f July 2019.
The Training and Placement Cell of Government Polytechnic Jammu, comprises of Sh. Rajesh Khajuria, TPO, Er. Sanam Gupta, Er Ajay Thapa, Er. Sakshi Kapai, Er. Navdeep Sharma and Er. P K Angral made all the arrangements for the smooth conduct of drive in Govt. Polytechnic Jammu.
