JKMEF delegation calls on union Health Secretary

JAMMU, Apr 5: A Deputation of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF)led by its President Sushil Sudan met Preeti Sudan, Union Secretary Health and Family Welfare (MOHFW), GOI, Nirman Bhawan, New Delhi.
According to press release issued by JKMEF, Dr. M.K Bhandari, Joint Secretary, ( Drugs Regulations), GOI, (MOHFW), and Senior Officers of Finance of the Ministry of Health & held discussions on two main point as under which also stand resolved and accordingly budget for the J&K State increased in many folds.
Release of Salary of Female Multi Purpose Health Workers (FMPHW) under 2211-FW, Extension of Pharmacy Act of J&K State. It was decided that funds to the tune of Rs. 44.54 Cores have been earmarked under salary component for FMPHWs working under 2211-Family Welfare to be reimbursed to Government of J&K State. Now the funds are increased from 44.54 to 84.40 Crore. As there is a rule of Govt. of India that the Central Sponsored Schemes are fully re-imbursement Schemes.
In this behalf Sushil Sudan President JKMEF has requested the Governor of J&K to please take necessary action to implemented reimbursement scheme in J&K so that the 2211 Head Employees can get regular salary. Further, as far as Pharmacy Act Extended to J&K State, it was ensured to take up the matter for appropriate action. Those who accompanied the deputation are Ch Jarnail Singh, Daleep choudhary and Madan Sharma.
