JAMMU, April 10: Meeting regarding Physical/ Financial progress of various components of the Directorate of Health Services, Jammu was held under the Chairmanship of Principal Secretary to Government Health and Medical Education Department Atal Dulloo at Govt. Hospital Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
The meeting was attended by Director Health Services, Jammu Dr. Samir Mattoo, Director Family Welfare, M.C.H & Immunization J&K, Dr. Arun Sharma, Director Finance Mohd. Rafiq, Joint Director Planning Madan Lal Bhagat, Deputy Director (HQ) Dr. Renu Sharma, Dy. Director (Schemes) Dr. Syed Tasneema Banoo, State Malariologists, Dy. Director Dentistry Dr. Girish Chander Gupta, Medical Superintendent Govt. Hospital Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, Assistant Director (Schemes), Assistant Director (HEB), Chief Medical Officers from all the Districts of Jammu Divisions, Programme Officers / Nodal Officers of National Health Mission / Schemes and all Officers from the Directorate of Health Services, Jammu. Deputy Director Planning and Programme / Nodal Officers gave Power Point Presentation.
Major components/ schemes were discussed with Principal Secretary by all concerned Officers and stress was laid upon to raise the physical achievements, proper utilization of funds, filling up of vacant posts at the earliest. He was apprised by all the Chief Medical Officers and Nodal Officers about their issues/shortcomings regarding shortage of Doctors / Manpower's and non availability of vehicles. The meeting ended with thanks giving by the Director Health Services Jammu Dr. Samir Mattoo with the assurance to resolve various limitations in the schemes along with improvement in their progress.
