JAMMU, Apr 10: The workers of Dogra Front & Shiv Sena under the leadership of President Ashok Gupta took out a protest in Jammu city against the killing of RSS Chandrakant Sharma who was visiting the hospital and was gunned down by Barkha wearing militant.
The terrorists had snatched the weapon from RSS leader's PSO and shot him dead while Chandrakant got injured in the attack. He later succumbed to injuries. In an appeal to the Governor of the State to take stern action against such subversive elements to curb the menace of terrorism and to ensure peaceful atmosphere in the State. It was further appealed by Ashok Gupta that this incident should be investigated by a Specialized Investigating Agency like National Investigating Agency (NIA) to nab the culprits/terrorists responsible for this cowardly act of killing innocent brothers which has caused fear psychosis amongst the Nationalist People in the State in general and Kishtwar in particular. Gupta further stated that the ECI should take cognisance of the situation and should take action against the appropriate authorities. The party people who were present at the time of protest were Ashish, Geeta, Labbha, Fauji, Shamo, Nikku, Kalu, Naresh, Daya Ram, Abhishek and various others were present.
