Dr Jitendra Singh scared of getting exposed: Harsh
BJP goons disrupt JKNPP programme at Ghordi
4/10/2019 10:50:40 PM
Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Apr 10: Infuriated over the brazen display of money and muscle power by the BJP during the election campaign in Udhampur Lok Sabha constituency, Harsh Dev Singh Chairman Panthers Party and former Minister launched a blistering attack on the Saffron brigade for disrupting the programme of NPP at Gordhi in Ramnagar segment of the constituency here today. "You have succumbed to your failures. Now, you are resorting to gutter level politics by disrupting our programme. You seem to have accepted your defeat", Harsh admonished BJP. He was staging a thundering on-site protest against the Saffron Party for quelling the voice of Jammu region. Later, he addressed the public meetings at Bharmeen, Dhandal, Dalpad, Roun Domail, Khu Nallah segments of Ramnagar in Udhampur LS constituency.
Addressing the media, Singh revealed that BJP had been using money and muscle power to manipulate the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. He said despite the permission granted to Panthers Party to hold public meeting at Ghordi at 11 am today, the BJP activists including its goons disrupted the NPP programme by flouting the guidelines of the MCC imposed by the ECI. "BJP had already raised huge stage and shelter along with the DJ speakers and several vehicles in the middle of the road at Ghordi to sabotage our meeting. The moment public meeting of Panthers Party commenced, the Saffron goons amid shouting slogans increased the sound of the speakers beyond the permissible decibel causing nuisance and havoc in the entire area. It was the glaring example of its 'goondaraj'. When the people from the crowd approached the BJP organizers to stop the woofers, its goons jumped from the stage and started yelling that nobody on earth could stop them from disrupting the Panthers programme. Further, while having heated exchanges with Panther activists, they openly said they had received the standing instructions from the BJP candidate Dr Jitendra Singh not to allow the Panthers Party to hold the public meeting at Ghordi," revealed Harsh.
Adjuring the ECI and the RO of Udhampur constituency in particular, Singh called upon them to take stringent action against Dr Jitendra Singh and his goons for violating the Model Code of Conduct "BJP had made a contemptuous mockery of the MCC. "Dr. Jitender Singh is scared of getting exposed for his political incompetence," Harsh said.
He appealed to the people to vote and support Panthers Party in the Lok Sabha elections. "Only we can relieve you from this Saffron menace", roared Harsh.
