Move offices to close in Jammu on Apr 26, reopen in Srinagar on May 6

Jammu, Apr 10: In connection with the bi-annual Durbar Move, the Government offices observing five days week shall close at Jammu on April 26, 2019 (Friday) after the office hours and offices observing six days week shall close at Jammu on 27 April 2019 (Saturday) after the office hours. All the offices shall reopen at Srinagar on May 06 (Monday), 2019.
According to an order issued by the Government here on Wednes day , all the departments shall ensure that records are packed after working hours on last working day. Adding, it has been ordered that the offices moving in camp shall carry only 33 percent of the strength of staff in that particular office or 10 officials whichever is minimum or as specifically indicated.
All Departments have been asked to depute their advance parties on April 22, consisting of one Gazetted Officer and four to five Non- Gazetted employees, who will receive the records in Srinagar. The fleet of J&K SRTC has been asked to make sufficient number of buses available in good condition for transportation of Kashmir based employees on April 27 and 28 and Jammu based employees on May 4 and 5, said an official.
