Vijaypur, June 9: Member Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma and Chander Parkash Ganga today visited the Data Ranpat Dev Ji temple at Data Talab in Birpur and paid obeisance there and participated in congregation of Sadhotra and Charak Biradri. He prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of the State.
Ganga said that Data Ranpat Dev Ji is a great Godman of Jammu who always worked for the welfare of the people and sacrificed his life for the cause of justice.
Data Ranpat Dev ji is the KULDEV of Sadhotra & Charak biradri. Thousands of people from Sadhotra Brahmin and Charak Rajput biradaris paid obeisance during their bi-annual congregation with great gaiety and enthusiasm, besides other people including men, women and children from across the region assembled and took part in holy prayers.
President, Data Ranpat Dev Committee besides other members of management committee and prominent citizens were also present on the occasion. |
