Jammu, June 9: Media-XI CC Jammu registered win over Jammu and Kashmir Police XI by a margin of 36 runs at G.G.M Science College Hostel Ground Jammu, here today.
After winning the toss electing to bat first, Media-XI Cricket Club led by Vivek Suri made 153 runs with the loss of 4 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Amit Kumar was the top scorer with 71 runs in 58 balls, while Sahil Sharma was the second highest scorer who scored 30 runs off 38 balls and Faheem Tak score 16 runs in 10 balls was the third highest scorer.
For JKP-XI Zaheer Manhas took two wickets while Tejinder Singh and Arun Jmawal took one wicket each. Chasing the target JKP-XI led by Tejinder Singh was bundled out for 118 runs and lost the match by a margin of 36 runs.
Sunil Sharma was the highest scorer with 34 runs off 10 balls, while Rajeshwar Salathia made 10 runs in 8 balls. Rahul and Zaheer Manhas score 8.
For Media-XI CC Ranjeet Singh bowled well and picked up 3 wickets, while Yash Khajuria,Vivek Suri and Dev Thakur took 2 wicket each.
