Early Times Report

Jammu, June 22: The extended area of Trikuta Nagar Extension included Channi Bija and Kamala is a newly developed area and this area comes under Trikuta Nagar as well as Channi Himmat area. It has a connectivity with both Trikuta Nagar as well as Channi. But this extended area which is also known as greater Jammu lacks basic civic amenities.
Dr. Rattan Lal was of the opinion that the area comes under JMC and the previous BJP & Congress regimes failed to come up at the expectations of the people.
Surinder Singh said that Congress as well as the BJP govt failed to mitigate the problems of the area. From last 10 years, we approached many authorities for our problems, but all our efforts failed to yield any results.
While talking to Early Times, Aditya Salathia of Praveen enclave said that the drains in our area always remain choked and no one clean it. The foul smell emitting out of its creates many problems for the residents as well as for the pedestrians.
Parshotam Lal of Laxmi market, said that the canal just opposite to our area is full of garbage and filth and it becomes difficult to even breathe in the area.
Novita said the canal is so dirty its two sides are always filled with garbage and it gives a shabby look inthe area. No doubt, our area is considered as the posts area, but it lacks basic civic amenities.
Other residents, include, Manjister, Brij Lal, Ajay Malhotra, Sanjeev Jamwal also echo similar views about to development of the area and expect that there voices will be heard and their just demands will be fulfilled. We demand basic civic amenities.
