| Residents of A/B Gandhi Ngr urge JMC to repair culvert | | |

JAMMU, June 28: Residents of A/B Sector of Gandhi Nagar have urged the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) to repair the main drain along with the culvert point at crossing of the main road on the backside of Swarn Theatre in their locality.
The inhabitants of the area said that during rains, the culvert gets blocked due to which the drain water enters into the houses and it also becomes impossible for the residents as well as the general public to walk smoothly on road as the level of the dirty water flows up to the knee level
They said that keeping in view the factual facts and circumstances it is requested to take up the matter on priority and instructions be issued for repairs of the damaged drain along with culvert so that the inhabitants of the area may get rid from the hardships before the start of the monsoon. |
