| JKNPP demands beautification of Udhampur Parks | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, July 24: Expressing deep concern towards the beautification of Udhampur, National Panthers Party (NPP) President and Former MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia today met with Director Floriculture Babila Rakhwal at her office and demanded beautification and the maintenance of all the parks of Udhampur.
Mankotia informed that during his MLA tenure Jakhani Park was constructed and only 10% work was pending of 2nd portion of the park for completion but after 2014 elections work remains still pending & has yet to be completed after almost 4 years.
He demands for early completion of 2nd portion of the park. Mankotia also demands to maintain & develop the Salian Talab Venus Chowk Park, all Parks of Housing colony & Chabutra Park of Udhampur. He disclosed that all these parks were constructed during his MLA tenure but after elections due to casual approach they all were in sorry state now. He demands for necessary facilities for children in all these parks.
Mankotia also demands to reduce the ticket price of Jakhani Park which is increased up to ?24/ person now, he said that Udhampur is small town & people were not afford this price to visit at Park.
Director Floriculture, Babila Rakhwal listened patiently and assured Mankotia to take early steps for the beautification of Udhampur Parks, on the occasion she also directed to concern officers to complete the pending work of 2nd portion of Jakhani Park. |
