JAMMU, July 24: The Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association (JKBWA) organised an oath-taking ceremony in the Durbar of Bawa Jitto at Jhiri wherein a large number of Batwal community members hailing from different corners of the state were present.
On the occasion, all the newly elected office bearers and members of the Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association were administered the oath of office.
Earlier, the Association expanded the executive body by including into it Captain Om Parkash Tugga and Captain Ram Lal Sargotra as Deputy Chairmen; Captain Darbari Lal Sargotra, Captain Kamal Dass Kaith, Sub. Hans Raj Kaith, Mela Ram Tugga & Punnu Ram Kaith as Vice-Presidents; Sub. Kaku Ram Kaith as Joint Secretary; Tilak Raj Bassa as Organising Secretary; and Naib. Sub. Boxer Mast Ram Kaith & Naib Sub. Badar Chand Sandhu as Security Secretaries.
While Sarpanch Sub. Ghaseeta Ram Lakhotra who was Election Convener earlier will now be Association's Chief Advisor. Among others who were present in the ceremony included Captain Kamal Chand Motan, Sub. Maj. Romesh Sargotra, Sub. Maj. Gunni Ram Kaith, Sub. Baldev Chand Sandhu, Sub. Narayan Dass Bassa, Hav.
