Rajya Puraskar Testing Camp concludes

Jammu, July 24: A five day testing camp of "Rajya Puraskar Testing Camp" of Scouts and Guides of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) Jammu region culminated at K V Nagrota on Wednesday i.e. 24-07-2019. Didar Singh, Principal K V Nagrota welcomed the Chief Guest D.P Patel, offi. Deputy Commissioner Regional office Jammu and the Principals from adjoining Kendriya Vidyalayas on occasion of grand Camp Fire held in the evening of 23-07-2019.He apprised the Chief Guest in this camp, 144 Scouts, 102 Guides from different Vidyalaya of Jammu Region along with 40 Escort/Unit leaders and 11 officials from Gurugram, Dehradun, Chandigarh and Jammu region participated. Scouts and Guides went through rigorous test to earn their place for the Rashtrapati award which is the highest award for Bharat Scout & Guides (BS&G). Also, he said the camp provided a great platform to students to show their skills and to excel in the activities of their choice. Students were made aware of internal endurance and how to become a great leader and a valuable citizen. D.P Patel,Assistant Commissioner Regional Office Jammu appreciated the participants for presenting programmes on the occasion of Grand Camp Fire and blessed them that they would show their ability. Students should not be confined to the four walls of the school. Such camps allow the students to develop leadership qualities.
