Pakistan wishes to violate ceasefire to convince world that Kashmir is disputed area
8/2/2019 12:11:43 AM

Pakistan delights in ceasefire violations on the LoC simply to push groups of militants into the state of Jammu and Kashmir. If some proof is required it is evident from the recent encounters in South Kashmir including Shopian and Bijebehara where some JeM top commanders were killed including those from crossing into the valley recently. And once again .India and Pakistan troops traded fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district, "At about 0030 hours, the Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing of small arms and shelling with mortars along the Line of Control (LoC) in Nowshera sector of district Rajouri", and the only way left for the Indian troops is to retaliate effectively and in this process marked losses have been reported from the Pakistan side.
The Indian Army responded strongly and effectively, This is the fourth consecutive day of firing and shelling between the two armies along the LoC in Poonch and Rajouri districts, in which a baby and a jawan were killed and two others were injured. The two armies shelled each other's forward areas and villages along the LoC in Tanghar area of North Kashmir. Earlier, the troops of two sides traded fire along the LoC in Mankote and Shahpur sectors of Poonch district. And two main purpose is serving when Pakistani troops hold violation of ceasefire on the LoC and on the IB. One was to push groups of militants into the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Secondly, the Pakistani troops try to demonstrate to the world that Kashmir continues to be a disputed territory.
And India has firmly conveyed to Pakistan that for the resumption of bilateral dialogue Pakistan should stop export of terror to India. But so far there has been no response from Pak Army and this indicates that Prime Minister, Imran Khan, is a puppet in the hands of the country's Army despite the fact that he would also support resumption of bilateral talks. Already India has rejected mediation from either the US, or the UN, or any third country. And this rejection should hold a lesson for Pakistan Government but since Imran Khan has no say in curbing the Army's strategy this way ceasefire violations have been the new policy of Pak Army. This way leaving the Prime Minister of the country a helpless person. But this is not the case in India where the BJP led NDA Government sets down directions to the troops.
