Doctors ignored transfer orders for 30 to 90 days, Health deptt yet to take action

JAMMU, Sep 2: A total of 23 doctors have been refusing to join the new places of their postings for the last 30 days to 90 days but the Health department is still showing generosity towards these erring doctors by giving them opportunity to join the postings instead of suspending them.
According to the order issued by Directorate of Health Services Jammu, a total of 23 doctors have been found, who have not joined their duties as per the transfer orders issued in last three months.
Some of these doctors have been transferred from city areas to the peripheral areas of Jammu region due to which most of them have not joined their duties and have been buying time for some favourable action, sources said.
"The general rule in government services is that if any official, employee or doctor is found unauthorizedly absent from their duties, they are immediately suspended and explanations are sought from them after suspension but in case of doctors the Health department has been so generous with the doctors that some have not joined for the last 90 days while others have not joined for days ranging from 30 to 60 days but still they are being given time even during Governor's rule", an official said.
The erring doctors transferred on 30/5/2019 are Dr Kiran Chib transferred from UHC Sainik Colony to CHC Hiranagar, Dr Syed Ishrat Bukhari transferred from UHC Mubarak Mandi to PHC Bhaiya, Dr Ravinder Kumar transferred from PTPHC Slaid to PHC Hutt, Dr Pardeep Kumar Bhagat transferred from DH Doda to AH Thathri, Dr Naseem Choudhan from UHC Digiana to AH Ghagwal, Dr Anupama Mahajan from UHC Bahu Fort to PHC Nandpur, Dr Arif Ahmad Wani from PHC Chatroo to NTPHC Inderwal, Dr Santosh Kumar from PHC Kot Bhalwal to PHC Mera Mandrian, Dr Meera Angral from NTPHC Gadigarh to GH Sarwal, Dr Vijay Lakshmi from NTPHC Gadigarh to AH Vijaypur, Dr Rachna Bhagat from UHC Janipur to NTPHC Ransoo, Dr Rajesh Kumar Bhagat from NTPHC Pnidi Charkan to PHC Arnas.
The doctors transferred on 20/6/2019 include Dr Anil Kumar Gupta from NTPHC Phallein to DIO Doda, Dr Balbir Kumar from PHC Jogwan to DIO Kishtwar, Dr Mohammad Mushtaq Chouhan from CHC Ramgarh to BMO Gandoh, Dr Balvinder Singh from SDH Khour to DH Poonch, Dr Suchi Gupta from CHC Sohanjana to DH Udhampur, Dr Radhika Gupta from DHS Jammu to DH Reasi, Dr Lalit Kumar from DHS Jammu to DH Reasi.
The doctors transferred on 15/7/2019 incude Dr Nadia Choudhary from CHC Sohanjana to PHC Thial and Dr Vinod Kumar transferred on 17/7/2019 from SMGS Jammu to Principal ANM School Ramban.
Dr Tajinder Kumar CHC Akhnoor to DH Udhampur and Dr Zaheer Abbas from SDH Khour to DH Udhampur and were transferred on 2/8/2019
