Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Nov 1: Former Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Satyapal Malik has described his visit to Kashmir as very spectacular. He said that "I read many books about Kashmir, listened to the people sitting in Delhi, but the Kashmir I found is different. Praising the Kashmiris, Satyapal Malik claimed that the biggest threat to Kashmir is the Jamaat".
Satyapal Malik was confronted by the media after the term ended as Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, in which he said that the biggest threat to Kashmir is the Jamaat, which teaches Wahhabi. He told that this is a dangerous institution, due to which the affected people have spread all around in Kashmir. Satyapal Malik said, '20 per cent of the Jamaat people are in the secretariat. There are teachers. Even Mehbooba Mufti's party is a party with the same ideology.
Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh R.K. Mathur said, the focus will be on the development of border areas.
When the question was asked on Satyapal Malik's claim that despite having such information regarding PDP, why did BJP form government with him? On this question, Satyapal Malik said that we are suffering the same thing. Satyapal Malik said that the youth of Kashmir wants to move forward by studying. There are just some people who have made the situation worse. He told that the youth of Kashmir are very talented and the people are very good and their displeasure is with the leaders there.
