11/7/2019 11:41:11 PM

Early Times Report

Poonch, Nov 7: Young lawyers have demanded that the recent decision of transferring the registration powers to the Executive Magistrate from the Judicial Officers should be reversed.
Bhanu Partap Advocate while addressing the press said that the decision would further burden the already busy revenue authorities.
Partap further said that the job of registration requires the knowledge of Complex Registration Act which can be best ensured by the assistance of the Advocates in the Court Complex. Adv Tahir Mahmood Qadri requested the State Administrative Council to reconsider their decision of transferring the registration powers. Tahir said that the large illiterate population of border district Poonch will have to face hardships in offices of Revenue Authorities who already have many other engagements.
All the lawyers of Bar Association Poonch demanded that for the benefit of general public proper arrangements must be made in the Court Complex Poonch to carryout the registration process.
