MBSCET organizes "Blood Donation Camp"

Jammu, Nov 7: On the eve of 550th Parkash Diwas of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji, Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu organized "Blood Donation Camp" in association with Guru Nanak Langer Mission and J&K Thalassemia welfare society " to promote the message of Guru Nanak Dev Ji to serve the humanity. Awareness lecture on the benefits of blood donation was also conducted to motivate the students and the society by Dr Vijay Sawhney consultant and Incharge Blood Bank SMGS Hospital Jammu along with Dr Salvi Sharma PG Deptt. of Blood Transfusion Medicine GMC Jammu. Baljeet singh along with other members from Guru Nanak Langar Mission along with the college students managed the whole event. Er. Sudhir sethi (President JK Thalassemia welfare society), Shammi Kapoor , Punnet Gandotra, Er. Kem Raj, Er. Ripu Daman Singh (Executive members) also motivated the students on the occasion. A total no 60 students voluntary donated the blood.
Another camp is is also going be organized on the 11th Nov 2019 for 1st and 3rd Sem students. Prof Parveen Singh (Dean Academics, H. S Gill (Director student welfare) ,Prof. Harinder pal Singh and prof.
Ripu Daman Singh from the college Coordinate the whole event. Management of Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering and Technology, Jammu congratulated all students and staff who volunteer for the noble cause.
