| Posts OF BDO vacant in Mendhar, Loram since months , people suffer | | | M S Nazki
Poonch, Nov 25: People of block Mendhar and Loran have alleged that they have been suffering as the hands of administration as the posts of Block Development officers (BDO) of mendhar and Loran have been vacant since months together sources said here today.
They said that the post of posts of BDO Mendhar was vacant for last 8 months and BDO Loran have been falling vacant for the last four months as result the people of above said blocks have been suffering a lot adding they have to wait for their petty works for a loger times to be get done due to non availability of Block Development officers and other staff .
Sources said that BDO Surankote has been given additional charge of Mendhar and BDO Mandi was dealing with the affairs of block Loran too, yet due to increased workload they find it difficult to reach every person adding to the people of block Loran and Mendhar have altogether to go through and tough phase as the fate of their pending works hangs in the balance , sources added.
Mendhar Youth Club Chairman Advocate Nadeem Rafiq Khan has urged the Director Rural Development Department and LG Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir to take the cognizance of peoples problems and fill up the posts of BDOs in Loran and Mendhar Block for the larger interests of the general public of these blocks on priority , he added. |
