udhampur, Nov 25: Bizarre it may sound that a Government High School kalta in Udhampur district is housed in four rooms while the government claims that much stress is being paid for the betterment of school education of children.
"When it rains we either prefer to remain at home or our classes are combined," a student at the school told this reporter.
"What progress our children can make in their studies without proper facilities at school," rued -a local farmer of the area.
Locals informed that many times they met the concerned authorities in this regard but no heed was paid to our issues of immediate concern.
Sources informed that the school was upgraded in the year 2004 from Middle to High School and has a total strength of 200 students.
