| Illegal mining goes on unabated in Rajouri | | |  Early Times Report
RAJOURI, Dec 30: Under the eyes of so-called good administrative set-up of district administration Rajouri, the mining mafia is going on with illegal digging of Rajouri River.
Sources said that Sand and Bajri mafia has infected the fish breeds from the river. Sources said that that mafia is using JCB and other machines to dig the river to take out the Sand and Bajri and Rajouri administration is watching all this as a silent spectator. The locals have alleged that department of fisheries is not looking sincere to protect the fish seeds from the mafia. They said that although district administration Rajouri is claiming to provide neat and clean system of administration in district, but these assertions are baseless and eyewash. The locals appealed Lt Governor to look into the matter and protect Rajouri River from further damages. |
