CPI (M) questions govt's decision to fill govt jobs at national level | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 30: While reacting over media reports that posts in different categories in government would be filled up at national level, CPI (M) state secretary G N Malik Monday termed it as the first gift by the BJP government to the unemployed youths of Jammu and Kashmir post abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A. In a statement issued to press from here, he said the BJP government was trying to hoodwink people of J&K post abrogation of Article 370 and 35A. The BJP government was making promises with people that job reservation and land rights will remain there even after abrogation of these Articles. When people were expressing apprehensions over these issues, the BJP government would term those as rumors and dispel it. The common High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh has invited application from across the country for various categories of posts before January 1st 2020. This is contrary to the assurances repeatedly given by the leadership of the ruling party to the people. Due to these reasons, we were always against the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A as it was a guarantee for people of J&K in domicile rights and jobs. It was not a favour to any particular region but for whole of J&K. |
