Holiday on Accession Day glorious tribute to Maharaja Hari Singh: Yudhvir Sethi
12/30/2019 10:07:30 PM
JAMMU, Dec 30: Lambasting Opposition parties including Congress for raking up issue of holiday on birth anniversary of Late Maharaja Hari Singh, Yudhvir Sethi, State General Secretary J&K BJP on Monday asserted that his party is committed to welfare of masses and whatever has been promised it was fulfilled.
While speaking with a gathering today at Lachi Chawani Sethi said that this time the promise of announcing holiday on Accession Day has been fulfilled. He said that the opposition parties which have been made redundant by BJP by its revolutionary policies ensuring public welfare have become irrelevant and to recover from this setback they are making mountains out of molehills by instigating public and organising demonstrations against non-issues.
Sethi said like other crucial promises made by BJP like abrogation of Article 370, the party shall also fulfill the rest with no dilution or aberration. He pointed out that people have become wise now and they will not fall in trap of Congress and other political parties to retard the momentum of development in J&K.
Sethi said that holiday on the Accession Day will be marked as a glorious tribute to the great reformist Maharaja of erstwhile J and K State whose remarkable contributions proved bountiful for the people living in the region.
Sethi cautioned the people of Jammu and Kashmir to remain vigilant against the forces which are hellbent to threat the tempo of development and programme initiated by BJP led local administration and the central dispensation.
"Have faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah policies as whatever is vowed by these iconic leaders will be delivered at the earliest," Sethi assured.
