| JKECTWS deputation calls on Advisor Khan | | |  Early Time Report
JAMMU, Dec 31: A deputation of J&K Excise and Commercial Taxes Welfare Society (JKECTWS), a forum of retired government officers and pensioners, today called on Advisor to Lieutenant Governor Farooq Khan, here at Civil Secretariat.
The deputation led by JKECTWS president, Vijay Sharma, and its members apprised the Advisor about several issues pertaining to their allowances and pension revision.
Among others, the JKECTWS sought provision of medical allowances for pensioners at par with Central government pensioners; issuance of medical cards as per Central government pensioners and the speeding up of process for enhancement of revision with Accountant General (AG) J&K.
The visiting deputation informed the Advisor that most of the pension revision cases have been resolved in AG office Jammu while the cases are still pending with AG Office Srinagar.
Advisor Khan gave a patient hearing to the visiting deputation and assured that all their pending and genuine issues would be taken with the appropriate quarters for early redressal. |
