JAMMU, Dec 31: The state executive body meeting of the Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) has decided to stage nationwide demonstration on January 3 against central government policy on foreign direct investment and disinvestment in public sector.
A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Subash Verma State president. Other demands including disinvestment in public sector, implementation of minimum wages at par with union territory, equal pay for equal work, proper implementation of labour Laws, ESI and P.F in all the establishments, abolition of fix term employment and contract labour system in perennial nature of work, regularisation of all the Mission and scheme workers, aganwadi workers and daily wagers etc. |
