BJP backstabs youth, people on issue of employment : Manohar
12/31/2019 11:08:44 PM

EARLY TIMES REPORT

Kathua, Dec 31: Former Minister & DCC President Kathua Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma hit out at the BJP leaders and said that the BJP and its leaders have backstabbed the youth & people of Jammu & Kashmir on the issues of employment by issuing confusing statements . He said that the recent job advertisement for Non-gazetted posts by the J&K High Court has allowed even the non-locals to apply for the jobs which is a huge set back for the youth of J&K. After the scrapping of Article-370 all the BJP leaders of J&K had said that the job and land rights of the residents of J&K will be safeguarded on the similar lines of Himachal Pradesh and domicile laws will be introduced. But the central BJP leaders are hell bent to destroy the future of youth of J&K and the state leaders of BJP are a mute spectator to this. This policy is a standard modus operandi of BJP where they issue different statements and confuse the people to fulfill their nefarious agenda of dividing people to achieve their sole motive of grabbing the power at any cost. He said that unemployment is a serious issue in J&K and the youth here is highly dependent on the government jobs as the private sector is not developed in the state so if the government jobs are opened for the non-locals then it will cause a huge setback to the educated unemployed youth of J&K. Dr Manohar lal Sharma demanded that this job advertisement should be immediately revoked and changed so that only the local youths of J&K are allowed to apply for the jobs in J&K. He said that 100 percent reservation should be kept in jobs for the locals of J&K. He warned the BJP leadership that if this attempt of BJP to destroy the future of youth of J&K is not revoked then a huge agitation will be launched by him to safeguard the rights of the youth of J&K.
