“The silence on restoration of Statehood will cast the Government especially BJP. The people feel cheated with the hollow slogans,” alleged Manjit Singh, who was speaking before the monthly Party workers meeting at Vijaypur.

“Reservation rights on the land, admission in educational institutions, professional institutions, and in Government jobs should be given to the locals so that they can save future of their children,” he said, quoting some examples of the educated youth without job.
There are highly educated youth, and some have just passed secondary school education, while many are professionally trained in different fields, but they are jobless, he said.
