| DRCS Udhampur organise symposium on 'Revival of JRC, YRC' | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Feb 1: District Red Cross Society Udhampur today organized a symposium contest on the topic "Revival of JRC/YRC at Government Higher Secondary School Battal Ballian, Udhampur.
Secretary District Red Cross Society, Dr. V.P Sharma was the chief guest while Principal of the host school Rashpal Singh was the guest of honour on the occasion.
As many as 10 students from different educational institutions of Zone Udhampur participated and threw light on the given topic.
Usma Gul of Indira Memorial Higher Secondary School clinched 1st position while Diksha Sharma of High School Malhar bagged second position. Mohd Yaqoob of Higher Secondary School Battal and Reha Sharma of Pilot Academy Battal Ballian got third position. Secretary District Red Cross society said that objective of organizing this programme is to create awareness among the common masses in the society.
He added that such programmes should be organized in near future also. Later, the chief guest distributed prizes and certificates among the participants on the occasion. |
