Staff of IGGDCH allegedly misbehave with lady patient, complaint lodged

Jammu, Feb 1: Staff of the Indira Gandhi Government Dental college Hospital (IGGDCH) Jammu today allegedly misbehaved and used unparliamentarily language against the lady patient who has gone to the hospital for taking X ray test.
While narrating the ordeal, the lady patient who identified herself as Anu Bala from Doda district and was accompanied her husband told the media persons that her treatment is going on in the Hospital since 29th January added that today doctor has prescribed some tests— she has come to the hospital for doing the same.
She stated that when she had gone to the counter of the hospital for X Ray and they did not give her the X Ray film and misbehaved with her husband for the test and further said that one staff member on showing a receipt for issuance of the same,
She said why they misbehaved with her husband. She further said that after the matter was brought into the notice of the Superintendent of the hospital who called the delinquent employee who apologised verbally— but did not give any thing in written.
A lady patient was seen in great shock and took a dig against the Hospital administration for the high handedness due to which she feel ashamed and felt distress.
Even she claim to have lodged a complaint in the evening with the police station Rehari with regard to this shocking incident— she said police has assured him action over the complaint.
She urged the police to take stern action against the culprits so that such incidents could not be repeated. She also urged upon the government to look into the matter.
